I got the call from a guy named Gerry in account verification and he told me to purchase a gift card for $100 the instructed me to purchase two more for $100 each. She told me she was forwarding my information and number to the correct department and that an agent would be calling me in a few minutes. the lady Dana Identified her self as PayPal rep and told me that my account had not been verified, and that I would have to speak to someone in that department. So I reached out to what I thought was PayPal costumer service. I called my bank and the said all was fine on this end.
I received funds in my account and tried to transfer the funds to my bank and it would not complete the transaction.
